In the TV series, Gelga breaks into Juza's hideout to recapture the women Juza had taken from him. He challenges him to a fight after Juza tells him to get lost, only to be killed.

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

    • His anime model sheet says he is 374 inches tall.
    • In the manga, Gelga is torn apart at the waist when killed, however in the anime, Gelga appears to explode and uses the vital point sound effect despite Juza not using Hokuto Shinken. It's possible Gelga's body exploding was a way to censor his death.
    • Whilst a brutal bandit chieftain, the women appear to be staying with Gelga's crew of their free will in the manga.
