- An underling of Bask, was about to execute an innocent woman in place of Lin before Kenshiro arrives. Was killed easily by Kenshiro. A Mr. T lookalike, and strangely one of the few enemies that did not explode.
- Early printings of the manga had a politically incorrect line by Bask referring to Barona: "You'll regret it if you think I'm anything like that black pig!" The line was not used in the anime or subsequent printings.
