During the crossover, a young villager discovers Kenshiro but turns a blind eye to him. However, when they reach Baruda's patrol, an older villager exposes Kenshiro's whereabouts, hoping to earn a reward so he can care for his sick mother. Baruda considers both villagers untrustworthy and has them killed by his thugs. Baruda fights Kenshiro with his ''[[Kazan Sansa Sō]]'' style, but he is launched skyward with his own spear and destroyed in midair.
