Shuken (シュケン) (c.v. Takuya Sato)
- The founder of Hokuto Shin Ken, Kenshiro's and Hyoh's ancestor, first mentioned in Hokuto no Ken. 1800 years ago, he became an apprentice of Seito Gekken, learning its secrets of the Keiraku Hikō pressure points and blending it with the original Hokuto Sōke no Ken style. In order to fulfill his destiny as preordained by the Hokuto Sōke priests, he killed the other disciples of Seito Gekken, except his lover Yāma, her brother and established the one successor rule for Hokuto Shin Ken so that its dangerous secrets would not fall into the wrong hands.
