: Close associate of King [[Asam]]. Kodou urges Asam to revoke his request to [[Kenshiro]] to have Asam's three sons killed, believing that there is still hope for the brothers to share the kingdom. Asam simply says that "the die has been cast", before leaving into the mountains. Kodou later appears by Asam's side in his final moments.
