Goru (ゴル) is a bounty hunter who is friends with Ein. He is the one who informs him about Asuka's kidnapping by Ren and his bounty hunters. Although, he follows Ein afterward, he later withdraws when Ein heads to the A-class traitor concentration camp.
While Goru does not appear in the anime, a new character named Joseph plays a similar role.
