In the anime, his appearance was slightly changed, as he now has a full head of teal-blue hair, and now also wears a bow tie as well.

Geira is an incredibly lazy man, on top of being a lecherous and hedonistic pervert as well. He is in fact so lazy, that even the concept of breathing enrages him.
TV Series
- In the anime, his appearance was altered to not look like Jabba the Hutt, making him more similar to Danny De Vito. He was also given hair.
Video games
- The Manga version of Geira, although unnamed, is also used for Sega Genesis video-game of Hokuto no Ken 2. There is an anime style illustration of his manga design in the manual. In the western port Last Battle, his skin is pale green, his blood is blue and he is called "the butcher."
- Shin Hokuto Muso features an unnamed generic general with Geira's dialogue and scenes. Though he refers to hypnotism, the generic version of Geira fights with a weaker version of Kenpo Goroshi like the other fat generals.
