Despite being members of the Hónghuá Huì, Ping and Mu are entirely comic relief characters. Ping is last seen in a meeting on the Hónghuá Huì ship, given the ship is sunk not much later, he is assumed to have died.
TV Anime
Ping and Mu is seen trying to escape the ship by swimming to land only to be shot to death by Yè, this is witnessed by Chen who vows revenge on Kenshiro.
