- Rihaku of the Ocean (海のリハク Umi no Rihaku)
- The military leader of the Goshasei, charged with protecting the Last Nanto General. Rihaku engineers a series of booby traps to protect Yuria when Raoh advances on the Nanto Capital. These traps prove to be little threat to Raoh, but Rihaku is saved from certain death by Kenshiro's arrival, where upon he witnesses Kenshiro's awakening of Musō Tensei - the ultimate technique of Hokuto Shinken. Rikahu later becomes the elder statesman of Lin and Bat's "Hokuto Army".
TV series
- In the original TV series, he is shown to be Yuria's caretaker since childhood instead of the character, Dharma, who was later introduced in Yuria Den. The OVA also shows that Yuria did not meet Rihaku until after she was rescued by the Goshasei from Southern Cross.
- Rihaku is also given his own martial art, Gosha Hasui Ken, in the TV series, which he uses in vain against Raoh after the failure of his death-traps.
