    : A character written for the TV series. He is the elder son of [[Kosem]], the elder whom [[Raoh]] promised to save [[Shura no Kuni]]. Rock is the leader of a group of horse-riding cowboys in Shura no Kuni modeled after ''[[wikipedia:The Magnificent Seven|The Magnificent Seven]]''. His father Kosem, as well as others, believed [[Raoh]] would be the Hokuto Shinken successor, as well as The Land of Asura's savior. He trained extremely hard one day that he would be able to fight at [[Raoh]]'s side when he returned to Asura. That dream would never be and he would blame [[Kenshiro]] for depriving the villagers of Asura their hopes and dreams. He would go on and try to attempt to take Kenshiro's life in an act of vengeance. However, he begins to believe in Kenshiro after freeing his village. He and his team are killed by Hyo and his army, though he manages to escape to warn Kenshiro that Hyo is his brother, but dies in his arms before doing so.

Jose sacrificed himself against Hyo, allowing the fatally wounded Rock to escape on horseback. Rock was reunited with Kenshiro and informed him about Hyo, but died before he could reveal the true relationship between Kenshiro and Hyo.

The leader of a horse-riding gang of cowboys from the Land of Asura, Rock is the son of Kosem and the older brother of Chain.
