Madara (マダラ): A werewolf-like member of the Fang Clan. He has sharp teeth and claw-like fingernails.

Appearance

Madara is a member of the Fang Clan who barely looks human at all, having slit pupils, a mouth full of sharp wolf-like teeth instead of the group of canines, incisors, and molars that normal humans have, as well as sharp claws. His mouth is also usually open.

Like the rest of the Fang Clan, he wears minimal clothing that consists out of a hood, a loincloth, and boots made out of animal pelts.

Personality

Madara's personality matches up with his bestial appearance, as he doesn't talk at all in the manga, and simply growls and yells like an animal, and he was also instinctually upset by Kenshiro's presence to the point where he knew he had to kill him as soon as possible to preserve his life.

In the TV anime, he has a slightly more expanded personality, as he is depicted as speaking and also mourning the loss of his brothers.

Abilities

Aside from his sharp fangs, great biting power, and equally sharp claws, Madara is capable of moving at speeds that are extreme enough for him to make afterimages, which he uses for his Kazan Bunretsu Ken technique.

He also has animal-like instincts that allow him to recognize how powerful and dangerous somebody is, as he was able to sense Ken is without even being able to see him properly.

Manga & TV Series

He becomes enraged when he senses Kenshiro's presence and aura, attacking him with Kazan Bunretsu Ken. Kenshiro would paralyze Madara's jaw so he won't bite again and destroy both of his clawed hands. Kenshiro kills Madara with his Hokuto Hagan-Ken, which caused his head to explode before he could be pulled away.

In the anime, Madara has an additional scene in which the rest of the clan has to chain down Madara to prevent from killing the villagers after he goes berserk when shot with an arrow. When questioned by his father about his behavior, Kiba Daioh, Madara says he misses his fallen brothers and wants revenge too.

Video Games

Madara appears in Hokuto no Ken - Seikimatsu. After enough Fang clan members are killed, Madara appears at a full moon and engages Kenshiro in a sub boss battle.
Shin Hokuto Muso has Madara appear as a generic member of the Fang clan without a unique fighting style or appearance.

Notes

According to the guide, Fist Of the North Star 2000(ちなみに北斗の拳２０００), Madara is the 98th child of Kiba Daioh.
