However, Duran fails and Dante's men take [[Kanna]] hostage as leverage against Kenshiro. Duran intervenes to save her only to be murdered as a traitor. An enraged Kenshiro destroys Dante's gang and defeats Dante using the ''[[Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken|Hyakuretsu Ken]]'', striking the ''Gusoku'' (具足) vital point to make him walk helplessly into the lava.
