: A master of ''[[Hokuto Shinken]]'' who once trained alongside [[Ryuken]], his old rival, but yielded succession to avoid the tragic fate of [[Isshi Sōden]]. Koryu is also known as the 'Hokuto Tiger', while Ryuken was called the 'Hokuto Dragon'.
