In Raoh's absence, he abuses his authority, playing human hammer-throw with the villagers by shackling them and swinging them around for sport. Seeing his minion [[Gonzu]] create a "new record", Abida tries to beat it by throwing the village elder skywards, where he is saved in mid-air by [[Kenshiro]]. [[Ryuga]] appears and says he will be taking over the village, which provokes Abida into attacking but his throat is severed by Ryuga's ''[[Taizan Tenro Ken]]''.

: In the anime, Abida claims that he has killed "over a thousand" people with his fighting style. He briefly fights Kenshiro before his encounter with Ryuga but gets easily disarmed.
