Due to Lin's bravery in the face of adversity, Airi became a strong and independent woman during the invasion of Mamiya's village by Raoh's general, Gallon in which she took up arms against his army, killing several of his men herself with a crossbow. After Rei's death she stayed behind in Mamiya's village to look after her brother's grave.
