Nicknamed "Grannie", she is the woman that raised the young [[Bat]] among other orphans. Although, she may not seem to get along with Bat, the two are very fond of each other in reality. She tries to dig out a well at her village, but isn't successful until [[Kenshirō]] arrives to break off the rock plate that's blocking the water. After Kenshirō leaves, [[Jackal]] attacks the village takes Toyo and the orphans captive. Kenshirō comes back and rescue them, but she dies from the stab wound given by Jackal.
