Bolge: Difference between revisions

: A blind wasteland thug that Kenshiro and Bat killed during the last final story arc of manga. Although he is depicted as a generic wasteland thug without any special martial art skills, his existence is mostly used as a plot device for the Ken, Bat and Lin triangle drama. He was blinded by a young Kenshiro during an incident in the past (their story was never mentioned in the manga before) and thus bears a deep hatred towards Kenshiro. To protect Kenshiro and Lin as a way to repay the debt for numerous times Kenshiro saved him (at the time Kenshiro was suffering from amnesia and thus forgot most of his Hokuto Shinken techniques), Bat pretends to be Kenshiro in front of the blind Bolge. However, his ruse doesn't work out well and he is captured in the process and then tortured slowly by Bolge in the belief that Bat is Kenshiro. Kenshiro regains his memory and defeats Bolge with the Hyakurestsu Ken, which Bolge manages to resist somehow and grabs Lin hostage. Bat gives him the final dead blow just to protect Lynn. However, Bolge gives Bat a fatal wound in the process (but Bat life is saved at the end by Kenshiro). He´s the last enemy they face on the manga and thus, the last enemy of the entire series.
