* In the manga, Gelga is torn apart at the waist when killed, however in the anime, Gelga appears to explode and uses the [[Keiraku Hiko|vital point]] sound effect despite Juza not using ''[[Hokuto Shinken]]''. It's possible Gelga's body exploding was a way to censor his death.

* Whilst a brutal bandit chieftain, the women appear to be staying with Gelga's crew of their free will in the manga.
