Diamond & Club Side Story: Recollection of Heavy Metal (北斗の拳外道伝 追憶のヘヴィメタル Hokuto no Ken Gedōden – Tsuioku no Hevimetaru) is a one-shot manga. It was published in the February 2013 issue of Monthly Comic Zenon. It is contained in the first tankōban of Strawberry-Flavored Hokuto no Ken.
Plot
[edit | edit source]This story is a spinoff prequel to the original Fist of the North Star by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, and covers the events of Diamond & Club's lives prior to their appearance in the manga as aspiring heavy metal musicians. Diamond's real name is revealed to be Takashi Yamamura (山村たかし) and Club's is Kōhei Shimatani (島谷こうへい).
