- Ryu (リュウ Ryū)
- The orphan son of Raoh, who is strongly implied to be the future successor of Hokuto Shinken after Kenshiro. At a young age, he already shows his wit and bravery and possesses his father's eyes. Kenshiro was his personal mentor for some time (during the "Kōketsu", "Sava" and "Blanca" arcs) before he left Ryu to be taken care of by Balga.
Shin Hokuto no Ken
- In Shin Hokuto no Ken, Kenshiro is waiting Ryu to grow up so they can decide the next Hokuto Shinken successor.
Trivia
- Despite several possibilities both in the original manga and the spin-off material, Ryu's mother remains unconfirmed.
