    Souten no Ken

Voiced by: Takashi Kondō (young), Mugihito (old),
The young Ramon first protected Aya Kitaōji from hired thugs, later serving as a bodyguard to Pān Yù-Líng from the Tài Hú Bāng during her stay in Japan. Ramon is later revealed to be Kenshirō Kasumi's half-brother, since Kenshiro was born from a different mother.
He named Kenshiro after his older brother because they both had a Big Dipper-shaped birthmark. His refers to his older brother as the "Strongest Hokuto Shinken warrior" who is as "mighty as the blue sky above."

    Hokuto no Ken

As a young man, Ryuken successfully battled with Kōryū for successorship of Hokuto Shinken.
Later in life, he adopted and trained Raoh, Toki, Jagi, and Kenshiro as their sifu. After choosing Kenshiro as the next successor, Ryuken suffered a heart attack as he was about to seal Raoh's rebellious fist. Raoh seized the opportunity and killed Ryuken in cold blood. Kenshiro did not know about Raoh's hand in Ryuken's death, having assumed that Ryuken simply died from illness, until Toki revealed the shameful secret during Kenshiro and Raoh's first battle.
Although Ryuken died before the beginning of Hokuto no Ken, he would appear in flashbacks by Kenshiro and Raoh whenever they faced a dilemma, such as Raoh becoming enraged by Juza during their youth and how Ryuken told him not to fall into his incitement trap.
