Baruda (バルダ, Baruda): An armored minion of Ken-Oh who was in charge of a bridge checkpoint waiting to intercept Kenshiro & co. Since the bridge was heavily guarded and rigged with explosives, Fudou and Bat take disguises to cross over with Lin, whilst Kenshiro smuggles himself inside a hay hagon. During the crossover, a young villager discovers Kenshiro but turns a blind eye to him. However, when they reach Baruda's patrol, an older villager exposes Kenshiro's whereabouts, hoping to earn a reward so he can care for his sick mother. Baruda considers both villagers untrustworthy and has them killed by his thugs. Baruda fights Kenshiro with his Kazan Sansa Sō style, but he is launched skyward with his own spear and destroyed in midair.
