An Asura warrior that fights over an unconscious Lin after she has fallen under the effect of Shikanhaku. Samoto is a thin moustachioed man with a duck tail hairstyle who has invaded several villages looking for a wife. He is killed by Numeri. In the TV series, they were combined into one character bearing Numeri's appearance but with Samoto's name.
Confusingly, a character resembling the original Samoto appears in the anime as a minion of anime Samoto.
