He is first seen with a traitorous villager who has kidnapped children and given information about Shu's hideaway in exchange for a chance to join the Holy Emperor for protection. When he is captured by [[Jay]] and the other members of [[Shuu|Shu's]] resistance, he fakes a story about serving Souther to protect his kidnapped little sister. While the resistance members let their guard down, he murders them in cold blood, revealing he never had a family.
