The Nahash (נחש magic) are an ancient Semitic tribe that created the martial art Tento Seiin Ken. Some members of this bloodline carry a special gene that allows them to emit light when using a breathing technique called ruach (רוּחַ).

There is a rift between the religious leadership (Nagid) and the capitalist (death) merchants, Genesis.

They seek ownership of Erika Arendt's "Thunderbolts of the Tentei" and the two Yodh magatama.

In the original serialization, it was stated that members of the Tento tribe called Dragonians (創天龍人(ドラゴニアン)) carry a gene called the Dragon God Factor (龍神因子 Ryūjin Inshi). This text was removed from the tankoban.
