Is Tesshin Kasumi Chinese or Japanese?

I'm confused by this sentence in the article "For reasons unknown, Tesshin never told Kenshirō about his homeland (China) or his mother.". So Tessin Kasumi is actually a Chinese?

Kenshin/Himuka is from the Souten no Ken: Re:Genesis anime. I've been waiting to see if/when the manga gets to the character so I can write the "canon" version of his story. But if somebody else wants to do it, I'm fine with that. evan1975 (talk) 14:23, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
