Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In the original Weekly Jump serial, the opening page depicting the Nuclear holocaust was followed by a two-page spread of Kenshiro standing in front of a ruined cityscape. This spread was omitted from the Jump Comics version, but was restored in later editions.
- The Weekly Jump publication of the story also had the second chapter announced under the title King no Gyakushū (KINGの逆襲). This title wouldn't used until the fourth chapter.
- The final panel of the chapter had Kenshiro mistakenly drawn without the seven scars on his chest.
