- Ryu (リュウ Ryū)
- Son of Raoh, and is strongly implied to be the future inheritor of Hokuto Shin Ken after Kenshiro. At a young age, he already shows his wit and bravery, he also possess his fathers eye. Kenshiro was his personal mentor for some time (during the "Kōketsu", "Sava" and "Blanca" arc) before he left Ryu to be taken care of by Balga. In New Fist of the North Star, Kenshiro is waiting Ryu to grow up so he can battle against Ryu for the Hokuto Shinken successor title.
