Asam (アサム, Asamu): The ruler of the Sava Kingdom and Master of Daijō Nan Ken (大乗南拳, "Southern Fist of Mahayana"). He is the father of three spoiled sons (and one daughter) that don't like each other, as they three fight to be the leader of the land. Attempts to hire Kenshiro to kill his three sons to prevent a civil war.
