Hyūi of the Wind (風のヒューイ, Kaze no Hyūi) is a member of the Nanto Gosha Sei. He leads the Gosha Sei's Wind Brigade and uses a martial art style involved using wind currents to slice off adversaries, which earned him his nickname.

In order to put a stop to Ken-oh's reign of terror, Hyui began to mobilize his troops by attacking each of Ken-oh's Invasion Forces one by one in attempt to lure out Ken-oh's main forces. When Ken-oh was finally lured out, Hyui valiantly jumped in for the kill, but could not even scratch off Ken-oh. Hyui was defeated by Ken-oh with a single giant blow which ended up killing him instantly.

In the anime, Hyui meets Kenshirō after eliminating David and his lackeys from Ken-oh's Recruiting Corps. Hyui challenges Ken to a match, but Ken strikes a vital point during the battle and Hyui ends up injuring his right arm. Hyui warns Ken that another member of the Gosha Sei is seeking him as well and then leaves. Shion, Hyui's younger brother and his second-in-command within the Wind Brigade appears only in the anime. Likewise, the name of his martial art, Gosha Fūretsu Ken, is only mentioned in the anime.

In the OVA Yuria Den, Hyui is ordered by Yuria to capture Rei. He is successful in his task with the help of Fudoh.
