One of Raoh's former generals. After Raoh's death, he lost his reason to fight and his reputation as a fierce warrior. This was exploited by Kouketsu, who enslaved Balga and the rest of Raoh's soldiers. Balga was forced to toil endlessly to keep his young son Shingo and the other children alive. When Kenshirō and Ryu (Raoh's son) arrived to take revenge for the death of Ryu's adoptive parents, they led a revolt against Kouketsu and released the young slaves. Balga was left in charge of the land and its people, having reclaimed his honor. After visiting the kingdoms of Sava and Blanca, Kenshirō leaves Ryu in Balga's care.

    Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu

In the movie Raoh Den: Gekitō no Shō, it is established that Balga was the unnamed soldier who shot Raoh in the leg with an arrow to stop him from killing Yuria.
