Souther Gaiden: Encounter of the Five Stars and Fists (北斗の拳イチゴ味サウザーGAI伝南斗 of Meet 〜五つの星が出会いし剣〜, Hokuto No Ken Ichigo Aji - Souther Gaiden - Nanto of Meet - Itsutsu no Hoshi ga Deaishi Ken); Souther Gaiden is a one-shot manga drawn by Imoto Yukito and written by Yushi Kawata. It is a brief spin-off that is eighteen pages in length. It was published in the April 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Zenon.

Plot

The story takes place in the middle of Souther and Kenshiro's final fight at the Mausoleum. It cuts to a flashback of Souther's childhood with Ougai and how he became successor of Nanto Ho-oh Ken.
