- Gion the Wise King (智王ギオン Chiō Gion)
- Voiced by: Yukihiro Misono
- A warlord whose army leads Ken-oh's Invasion Squad to the Valley of the Black King, where they ended up being trampled to death a herd of wild horses. After Ken-oh tames Kokuoh-Go and his herd, Gion surrenders and becomes a sycophantic minion of Ken-oh. He is initially assigned as the Warden of Cassandra, only to be demoted to assistant warden after Uighur takes his place.
