- The Search Captain was an officer of Golan, who only appears in the TV series. He was sent to hunt down "the Man with Seven Scars" after the death of The Major. He visits the oasis city and takes Rima's parents hostage as bait to lure out Kenshiro. However, Kenshiro arrives too late to save the two hostages who are slain by the captain.
- The Search Captain's troops are wiped out by Kenshiro, and the terror-stricken captain makes a desperate lunge only to get kicked to the face. He begs for mercy and flees in his vehicle, unaware his vital point has already been struck, until his head explodes and he crashes into a ball of flames.
