Zan (ザン) is the successor of Nanto Kōjaku Ken who features in Rei Gaiden. He knows Rei from the Nanto congregation, held once every ten years, and proves to be a conceited and violent man. Zan works as a bodyguard in the West Side of Asgarzul, yet plans to seize the city for himself. It is later revealed he is in fact a spy working for Yuda.
