When [[Kenshirō]] and the Hokuto Army fought against the Imperial Army, Solia began mobilized his entire unit. Solia challenged Kenshirō with the intention of eliminating the Hokuto rebels. Although, Solia managed to overpower Ken at first, he ended up losing his left arm when Ken countered his "Ring of Destruction" technique. Solia continued fighting with his remaining arm, but was eventually defeated by Kenshirō. Solia proclaimed that he sacrificed his life for Falco and the Gold Light -a particular present also in the Sega Genesis' videogame ''Hokuto no Ken'' and on its western port ''Last Battle''-, and then he died. The victory was not without cost for Ken, since the battle with Solia prevented him to rejoin Hokuto's Army against Falco and Hazu Harn had meanwhile killed himself trying to oppose the General.
