Kai (カイ): One of the three Viceroys of the Sava Kingdom and the eldest son of Asam. He was born under the sign of the Red Emperor and bears a close resemblance to his father. Kai competes with his two brothers for the crown, but they finally put aside their conflict after learning that their father is dying. Kai is later killed when he is struck from behind by one of the bandits threatening the kingdom.
