Souga (ソウガ, Sōga): A childhood friend of Raoh from the Land of Shura, and master of Sūzan Senpū Kyaku (嵩山旋風脚, "Songshan Whirlwind Kick"). Also, known as Souga the Swift Foot (韋駄天のソウガ, Idaten no Sōga). He and his younger sister, Reina, left their homeland to join Raoh's conquest, with Souga becoming a military strategist. They became Raoh's closest followers and Souga sacrificed his right leg at Cassandra to help Raoh and Reina escape, replacing it with a mechanical prosthetic.

Souga was later dealt a fatal blow during a battle with Gaiya, sentencing him to only two months to live.

Shin Kyūseishu Densetsu

In Raoh Den: Junai no Shō, Souga allows an assassin into Raoh's quarters, causing Raoh to kill him for treason. The grieving Reina later discovers this was a secret plot hatched by Raoh and her brother to discipline the soldiers, as Souga was already dying of his previous affliction.
