Bask (バスク, Basuku): An area governor for Jakoh's Tentei Empire. He issues a bounty on Lin and Bat as their militia Hokuto Army keeps on raiding the Empire's slave trade. After Barona gets killed by Kenshiro, Bask challenges Kenshiro to a fight. He is quickly defeated by Kenshiro after his technique fails to take effect. As a response, Kenshiro "helps" him out by quickly and painfully spinning the arm of the terrified Bask, as he screams in pain. Bask is afterwards killed when Kenshiro struck a pressure point on his forehead, bisecting him in half.

Trivia

Bask's design is based on professional wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Early printings of the manga had him delivering a politically incorrect line disparaging Barona: "You'll regret it if you think I'm anything like that black pig!" (このバスク様をさっきの黒ブタと一緒にすると後悔するになる)　The line was not used in the anime or subsequent printings.
