Nanto Suicho Ken
(南斗水鳥拳, South Dipper Waterbird Fist, also translated as South Dipper Waterfowl Fist): The most graceful form of Nanto Seiken, practised by Rei, it uses close-range and aerial attacks to destroy enemies with devastating power. Like many Nanto styles, it relies on the bare hands and air pressure to slice the body into pieces.

Danko Sosai Ken (断己相殺拳, Resolute Mutual Death Fist) ㊙: the ultimate Nanto Suichō Ken secret technique. The user sacrifices his life to defeat the enemy. In Hokuto Musō, Rei leaps in the air and presses the ground lightly with his hand. The ground is ruptured, and any enemies within range instantly die. | |

It is the most beautiful looking technique of his style. During the series, this move impresses other Nanto students and unintentionally earns Yuda's jealousy. |
Hishō Hakurei (飛翔白麗, Soaring White Grace) ㊙: Rei performs a single, graceful looking somersault. As he lands, his hands slices horizontally to his front. His attacks radiate a white aura that cuts anything in their path, this attack serves as the finishing move against Yuda. | |

Hiten Setsurei (Heaven's Glory): Rei leaps in the air and shoots a blast of energy. He then raises his arm with his middle and forefinger raised. Energy pillars erupt in front of him, possibly in the shape of the Nanto Roku Sei constellation. |

Hosho Regba (Nanto Talons of Destruction): Rei powers up and releases a minute ball of energy in front of him. For a moment, it seems nothing has happened, and then the ball creates a small hurricane. Any enemies inside the hurricane are ripped to shreds. |

Kakuyoku Jinzan (南斗鶴翼迅斬, Crane Wing Rapid Slash): Rei spins around in midair continuously, surrounded by a multitude of blue circles that shred any enemies who they come into cantact with. This attack was used to kill an underling before Rei fought Yuda. Later used by Kenshiro against the Nameless Asura. |

Ko Ha Ryū (南斗虎破龍, South Dipper Tiger Destroys Dragon): A technique Rei performs after witnessing Kenshiro's Seikyokurin stance, which causes its target to fall into a state of false death. Rei performs this technique in conjunction with Kenshiro's Hokuto Ryū Geki Ko ("North Dipper Dragon Attacks Tiger") to deceive the Fang Tribe. |

Yōsō Sankaku Kyaku
(鷹爪三角脚, Hawk Talon Triangle Kick): A flying jump kick used by Amiba, a Nanto Seiken drop-out. His style of Nanto Seiken was unknown in the manga, but revealed as Nanto Suichō Ken in Rei Gaiden'. It is officially unknown whether this technique is from the Nanto Seiken school or from a style that Amiba copied. It may be a technique from the real martial art Yōsō Honshi Ken (鷹爪翻子拳). |
