    Haderu the Thorn King (棘王ハデル, Kyokuō Haderu)
    A villain who appears in a special two-part chapter of the Ten no Haō manga. The one-eyed leader of the Black Rose Tribe (黒薔薇一族, Kokubara Ichizoku). The Black Rose Tribe are modeled after members of Jealkb, the band that composed the opening theme music of the anime, with Haderu being named after the band's vocalist.
