Nanto Suicho Ken
Nanto Suichō Ken (南斗水鳥拳, South Dipper Waterbird Fist, also translated as South Dipper Waterfowl Fist): the most graceful of the Nanto Seiken styles and used by Rei. With a focus on grace and aerial attacks, its primary usage is for close-range attacks. Like many other Nanto styles, it uses the hands or air pressure to split the body into pieces.

- Danko Sōsai Ken (断己相殺拳, Self-Sacrifice Offset Fist) ㊙: the ultimate Suichō Ken technique; kills an opponent at the expense of the user. It would've killed Raoh if performed successfully.
- Gekisei Kakubu (南斗撃星嚇舞, South Dipper Striking Star Frightening Dance): Cut Yuda's face.
- Hichō Rangeki Ha (飛鳥乱戟波, Flying Bird Wild Halberd Wave): a barrage of vacuum waves. Rei performs this diving attack against Rofū.
- Hien Ryūbu (飛燕流舞, The Flowing Dance of the Flying Swallow): Rei performs this technique in a demonstration before the other Nanto students, leaving them awestruck and earning the envy of Yuda.
- Hishō Hakurei (飛翔白麗, Soaring White Loveliness) ㊙: a downward mid-air double strike, which serves as the finishing move against Yuda.
- Kakuyoku Jinzan (南斗鶴翼迅斬, Wing Crane Rapid Slash): a midair body-blow with arms spread, this was used to kill an underling before Rei fought Yuda. Later used by Kenshiro against the Nameless Asura.
- Ko Ha Ryū (南斗虎破龍, South Dipper Tiger Destroys Dragon): a technique Rei performs after witnessing Kenshiro's Seikyokurin stance, which causes its target to fall into a state of false death. Rei performs this technique in conjunction with Kenshiro's Hokuto Ryū Geki Ko ("North Dipper Dragon Attacks Tiger") to deceive the Fang Tribe.
- Komen Yu (湖面游, Lake Surface Swimming) ㊙ a defensive move used by Rei. It stuns the target with a simple blow.
- Retsukū Jingai Shu (烈空刃崖手, Violent Sky Blade Cliff Hand): A powerful downward strike used by Rofū. This technique is part of Rofū's 'hard' style of Nanto Suichō Ken.
- Mugai Setsuei Shō (無外絶影掌, Lesser Outside Cutting Shadow Palm) ㊙: Used on Rima.
- Shōha Metsu Fujin (掌波滅風陣, Palm Wave Destructive Wind Formation): a devastating aura blast used by Rofū.
- Seiki Mōha (南斗凄気網波, South Dipper Miserable Energy Netting Wave) ㊙: a rapid-fire slicing attack that destroyed a boulder behind Kenshiro. It was also used to kill Yuda's impersonator in the anime.
- Kūbuen Rizan (空舞燕離斬, Departing Slash of the Sky Dancing Swallow): technique featured in Rei Gaiden & the Arc Systems video game. Mid-air combo followed by a swooping vacuum wave.
- Suzaku Tenshō (朱雀展翔, Vermillion Sparrow Unfolding Glide): Rei used this technique to injure Yuda's face. It was announced in the anime.
- Yōsō Sankaku Kyaku (鷹爪三角脚, Hawk Talon Triangle Kick): a flying jump kick used by Amiba, a Nanto Seiken drop-out. His style of Nanto Seiken was unknown in the manga, but revealed as Nanto Suichō Ken in Rei Gaiden. It is officially unknown whether this technique is from the Nanto Seiken school or a style Amiba copied. It may be a technique from the real martial art Yōsō Honshi Ken (鷹爪翻子拳).
