Gishaku (ギシャク) appears in the one-shot manga Right on King. He is the former Nanto Koshū Ken successor and Shin's biological father. To establish Nanto Koshū Ken as the ultimate style he challenged Ougai to a fight, only to lose his right arm in the blink of an eye. His defeat causes him to lose his successor title to Fugen who eventually trained both his son and Jugai. Blaming his defeat on the love for his pregnant wife, he imposed a harsh discipline on his young son to remove any such weakness. He hoped this would empower Shin to surpass Ougai's own student. When he caught Shin bonding with Kenshiro, he punished him by burning the photo of Shin's mother that his son had been hiding.
