Habaki (ハバキ)

Appearing in the Ten no Haoh anime, Habaki was the second-in-command to Gaoh, a rival warlord to Ken-Oh and ruler of the Black Steel Castle (黒鉄城, Kokutetsujō). Habaki's feelings for his commander are ambiguous, as he disapproves of Gaoh's womanizing ways and openly weeps during his master's funeral.

Habaki is wary of letting Sakuya (posing as a female merchant) into the castle while they are under siege by Ken-Oh's army, but the licentious Gaoh overrules him. After Gaoh's assassination, Habaki dedicates the battle to his fallen king's memory and assumes command. He briefly fights Reina and overcomes her with his Nanto Shūga Ken (南斗隼牙拳, South Dipper Falcon Fang Fist). However, Raoh catapults himself onto the ramparts to fight Habaki, and destroys his upper-body with a single punch.
