Ryu (リュウ, Ryū)

Kaioh's pet dog when he was a boy. Grief-stricken by the death of his mother, Kaioh vowed to forsake love and slammed his beloved dog's head into the ground, killing him instantly.

TV Series

In the TV series, the scene was toned down so that Kaioh lets his dog drown to death instead of saving him.
