Futari no Saki

Are there two separate Sakis? I'll have to scan some pics. They both seem to serve the same function for Yuria. evan1975 20:27, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

• To be honest, I'm not sure since the only "Gaiden" I read completely so far was Ten no Haoh and Gokuaku no Hana. From my understanding according to the Shura no Kuni fansite, the Saki in Yuria Gaiden was acquainted with Yuria before the Nuclear War, whereas the one in the anime didn't met her until she moved to Southern Cross, which obviously occurs way after. Of course, considering the number of story differences between the original manga, the TV series and later spinoffs, they might as well be the same character in different continuities. Either way, the Saki in Yuria Gaiden is definitely an homage to the anime original character. Arkhound 05:18, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

The author has stated she is a huge fan of the anime. I tend to agree with you that this is the same Saki, albeit a different continuity. evan1975 18:59, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
