Ryu (リュウ, Ryū)

The orphan son of Raoh, who is strongly implied to be the future 65th successor of Hokuto Shinken after Kenshiro. At a young age, he already shows his wit and bravery and possesses his father's eyes. Kenshiro was his personal mentor for some time (during the "Kōketsu", "Sava" and "Blanca" arcs) before he left Ryu to be taken care of by Balga.

Shin Hokuto no Ken

In Shin Hokuto no Ken, Kenshiro is waiting Ryu to grow up so they can decide the next Hokuto Shinken successor.

Trivia

• Despite several possible theories in both the original manga and spin-off material, Ryu's mother remains unconfirmed.
