Devil Rebirth (悪魔の化身(デビルリバース), Debiru Ribāsu)
A giant, ogre-ish man who uses the ancient Indian martial art Rakan Niō Ken (Fist of the Arhat Deva King), also known as the personification of Satan. He was convicted of killing 700 people with a single use of his fighting style, and was executed 13 times for his crimes. He survived all of his executions and was finally sentenced to 200 years (500 in the anime) in Villainy Prison. In order to defeat Kenshiro, Jackal tames him by using a picture of his mother (that he stole from him while serving time in the same prison) and convincing Devil that they're lost brothers. Kenshiro fights him, proclaiming that Hokuto Shinken is the Rebirth of Indra (闘神(インドラ)化身(リバース)) and kills him by striking his vital points in the shape of the Big Dipper.

AppearanceEdit

He is a giant, fearsome looking man with an olive skintone (extremely pale and purplish in the anime) who has wild unkempt hair colored dark red (green in the anime) with a receding hairline, no eyebrows and a equally wild beard as well. He has a large callus on his forehead as well as long, talon-like fingernails, and has a tattoo with a symmetrical design in the vague shape of a flame on his chest.

He wears a pair of tattered shorts over a cloth wrapped around his waist, and a pair of large boots with furred rims (In Shin Hokuto Musou, he is depicted without his boots).

PersonalityEdit

He is a aggressive towards everybody he sees except for his family, like his mother, who unconditionally loved him.

This love for his family can be used to manipulate him, as Jackal was able to coax him onto his side using her picture and by convincing him that he was his older brother. His love for his family is so sincere, that in his final moments he grabbed hold of Jackal and begged him for help while crying out in pain.

AbilitiesEdit

Devil's Rebirth has incredible physical strength, giving him all around immense destructive potential, something that is bolstered even further by his titanic size and his mastery of the Rakan Niō Ken. This fact allows him to match up Kenshiro's speed and agility during their initial fight. His ultimate technique, Fuusatsu Kongou Ken (Eng: Murdering Wind Fist of Vajradhara) enables him to weaponize the wind itself, and use it as projectile attacks with an incredible radius of effect.

He is also depicted to have immense durability, as he was able to survive 13 executions of varying methods.

He is shown to be unintelligent, as he was easily convinced by Jackal that he was his older brother, and that Kenshiro was the one who imprisoned him.
