Talk:Filler

I personally find the term "filler" completely misleading. It's usually used in anime fandom as an euphemism for "anything that was not in the source material", but it also implies that any event depicted in an adaptation-original story arc is unimportant to the overall plot, which I disagree. In the anime version of the Shin saga, episodes 17-21 is an anime-original story arc, but its still important to the plot due to the changes made to the flow of the story in the anime adaptation.
