Jibo no Hoshi
Fist of the North Star Yuria Side Story: The Merciful Mother Star (北斗の拳 ユリア外伝 慈母の星 Hokuto no Ken Yuria Gaiden: Jibo no Hoshi) is a manga series by Akimi Kasai. It was originally serialized in Big Comics Superior in three parts from March 10 – April 14, 2006 and six subsequent chapters from March 9 – June 8, 2007. It was released in a single tankōbon.

This story is a spinoff prequel to the original Fist of the North Star by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara, and covers the events of Yuria's life prior to her appearance in the manga. The main story is unique in that it takes place before the apocalypse and centres around a love triangle between Yuria, her childhood friend Juza, and her admirer Shin.
